Hello! I’m a poet (author of Marilyn, winner of the 2017 AAAS Best Book Award in Poetry) and a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As your friendly peer advocate, I interview individuals affected by mental health, disability and access issues in higher education.

Hello! I’m Frankie Martinez and I’m a writer with an MFA in Fiction from Cal State Long Beach. I have a background in journalism and am currently working on short fiction, nonfiction, zines, and blogging. I’m hoping that my work with STL will be a resource for everyone when it comes to accessibility in higher education.
